Hi everybody,

Unfortunately, my mother is in Covid hospital since last Wednesday :(
They said that she is having problem with both lungs. But it is good that we brought her to hospital on time.
They said also, that she is feeling better now than when she was admitted to the hospital.
She is on oxygen (not respirator) to help her lungs to heal. She is weak due to fact that she is having diabetes, blood pressure, problem with blood flow, etc :(
Visits to the hospital are not allowed as well as having a mobile phone in the hospital.
So we still did not see her. Only contacts with a doctor and informations over the phone.
I hope she will come back home soon.

Father is feeling good, he does not have temperature at all, although he is coughing.
And myself, I am still struggling with a temperature from time to time, and I cough.
Whole week I was staying in bed, keeping myself warm, drinking tee, taking medicine against temperature and everything else what private doctor said to me.
And I am in my room, away from my father. Even when we eat, we eat one by one, not together.
Neighbors are asking us if we need some food to be cooked by them. But I can still do it by myself.

Last Wednesday I did an official test and it was positive. I got and official paper about the test and it is in Bosnian, English and German language.
This I will send to you.
Also I got a paper about mandatory quarantine from a Mayor of my town. This is only in my language. If it is needed, I can do an official translation to German, and send it to you.
The problem is a sick leave. This I can not get since I don't have health insurance here (f***ing country) and I don't know what to do about that and how to certify that I am sick.

This morning I plan to work. I am sitting on a chair in front of the PC and I am rolled up in a blanket. I just check my temperature and it is 37,2.
I am feeling a bit cold. I am actually thinking not to work and to go back to bed.

@Haiko: Please instruct me what I can do about the sick leave.

I see that many colleagues are getting infected too.

Hi everybody,

Last Wednesday my parents both were positive on Covid.
I was doing the test daily and it was negative every time.
But, I was sick, with a high temperature and little coughing. But the tests did not show that I am positive.
Since both parents are positive, I was just waiting when the test will show that I got it too.
On Saturday, I took my parents to a Covid Ambulanz for a check. Doctor said that they are ok (it was a fast examination).
But my mother has a terrible coughing. Today they have an appointment for a test.

Yesterday I did the test again, and it finally showed that I am positive too.
All these days I am drinking lots of tea, taking vitamins and staying in bed.
But every day I have temperature around 38.
Today when I take my parents to the doctor, I will try to go to the doctor too.
Problem is that I don't have medical insurance here any more. I will try to go to the private doctor.

So, instead that I start working today, I will spend this week healing myself.
