Dear developers,
Since DSGVO private data MUST BE handled very very carefully in Germany.
With this e-mail I ask You to focus on changes in our working behavior:
1. Reading data:
Sometimes it is required to read or work with live data from a live
xRes or xMid installation to reproduce a behavior or find an
problem. Please make sure EACH SINGLE TIME to inform someone (i.e.
Your team leader) You have those live data, to keep them safe and to
delete them in the moment they are not required anymore. Handle live
system data with care and try to anonymize them whenever You can!
2. Working with data:
For us developers webbased tools are often helpful for (in example)
formatting JSON or XML files or for sharing data (pastebin, cloud
services, file sharing apps, online wireframe tools, ...) with each
other. This is legal for development data we created in a testing
environment. This is NOT legal, if those data come from xRes, xMid,
other TraSo software, any documentation (internal or external) or
any external source. Make sure You use ONLY local tools or TraSo
hosted webtools. If You miss internal tools for processing data ask
our administration our Your team leader!
3. Sending data:
Sending log data or any other private data from internal or external
sources to someone outside of TraSo REQUIRES them to be anonymized.
This includes private data like name, birthdate, payment data or any
other private information. Never send raw data to someone else in
ANY format! If You have to send ANY private informations to
receivers outside of TraSo, request a permission from Your team
leader or company leader and make sure they get a copy of this
communication.
If You send e-mails with private informations to someone inside our
company, encrypt the e-mail every single time!
If You are NOT sure, if live data You use are critical by DSGVO laws,
ask Your teamleader or company leader!
